How to get membership?
Pakistan Society of Life Sciences (PSLS)
PSLS Membership / Registration Policy & Registration
1) Eligibility Criteria:
All Pakistani Nationals, having their basic or advanced degree in any area of life sciences.
Individuals with interdisciplinary approved fields of life sciences.
Individual working in biosciences fields/ departments/ workstations, having advanced degree (PhD) in Allied/ Natural sciences.
2) Honorary memberships:
All Foreign Nationals, having their basic or advanced degree in any area of life sciences.
Pakistani and Foreign National Scientists and junior colleagues, belonging to any area of science with demonstrated abilities and repute.
3) Registration Pro-forma (all categories: regular & Proactive membership):
An online registration pro-forma is available on the PSLS website: www.paksls.org , which is mandatory to be filled-in for required information and submitted through official e-mail: psls-1@paksls.org of the society along with the proof of online scheduled registration fee submission in the provided account #: IBAN: PK18NBPA1725004018982691 , National Bank of Pakistan.

4) Documents Required:
Scanned copies of a valid CNIC or equivalent and proof of employment/ retirement.
Graduating scholars must write their valid university registration #, name of Department, University/ affiliated institute with address and documented proof of their studentship along with valid CNIC (scanned copies)
Scanned bank receipt/ copy as proof of registration fee submission.
Scanned passport size Photograph is preferred for PSLS membership records/ privileged cards.
Lifetime Membership with no registration fee, for our respectable senior colleagues, over the age of 70 years, on or before March 01, 2026. However, society registration pro-forma needs to be furnished.
5) Registration Fee (fee structure valid for PSLS registration till April 30, 2026):
6) Registration Processing:
Submission of Registration form & fee, complete in all respects will be processed and a PSLS registration # allotted and conveyed to the registered member. PSLS Registration Certificate will be issued later.
Category “iv, v & vi”, automatically becomes a “Privileged Members” for all unlimited available facilities.
PSLS registration allows members of all categories to avail facilities as per laid down rules and regulations of the society. The society registration however, is not an employment, henceforth free of all liabilities and cannot be challenged in any court of law.
